?FOR YOU? launches ?Pragati? ? an annual scholarship Program to support the education and training and/or mentoring of students from low income group families.

With our mission of supporting the education of the under privileged children and to develop a skill for giving tem a respectful alternate career, “FOR YOU” – JIDF Board, has launched an annual “PRAGATI SCHEME” on August 15, 2010.
Under Pragati, “FOR YOU”, has finalized the names of 12 students to sponsor their one complete academic year of education. Under this scheme for the year 2010 – 2011, eight students will be benefited for their regular education in various “Pratibha Vidyalaya’s” in NCR and four students will be benefited for their respective vocational courses and education through various open schools.
Under the Pragati Scheme 2010 – 2011, “FOR YOU”, has allocated a fund of Rs. 160,000 received from the following sources –
a) Mr. and Mrs. Maruti Sudan decided to sponsor education of two children with Rs.
20,000.
b) Three children will get benefited by utilizing the anonymous donation of Rs. 40,000
from an employee of Microsoft India.
c) JIDF has contributed Rs. 80,000 under the scheme for the year 2010 – 2011. |
